About Me
Who am I? I am a mother, a storyteller, a climate informed psychotherapist specialized in Gestalt therapy, ecotherapy, psychodrama. I facilitate creative workshops and Celtic ceremonies. I am a nature activist, a grateful steward of a little piece of land in the north of Spain and a person who believes a better world is still possible and truly would like to be an ancestor that future generations would be proud of.
Professional Path

I was born in Scotland and after graduating with a degree in Biological Sciences at Napier University in Edinburgh, I traveled around the world with a backpack discovering the wonders of the natural world like the Great Barrier reef and the Amazon rain forest, and working on some sustainable land projects. After living in several countries I finally settled down in Spain and I became a professional storyteller, telling stories about the richness of our world’s cultural and natural heritage.

I became aware that stories could be a valuable tool for people in need of therapeutic support and decided to explore further by doing an integrated training in Gestalt therapy and humanistic art therapy. I then studied symbolic psychodrama which provided the key to enter the symbolic world of fairy tales as a process of individuation. I have been guiding people on their path of self-discovery through stories and creativity ever since.

Since many of my clients reported feeling disconnected from the web of life, I trained in eco therapy and started to offer nature-based therapy as well. As the environmental poly-crisis became more critical, my need for social and environmental justice led me to become a facilitator of Active Hope and The Work That Reconnects to help foster resilience and to inspire others to look after our home, planet Earth and to leave it in the best possible condition for the future generations to come. My deepest desire is to be an ancestor that future generations will be proud of.
I facilitate nature-based hand fasting rituals and other ceremonies based on the Celtic Wheel of the Year.
Sustainable Personal Life Path
I am committed to leading a sustainable life and to walking as gently as possible on Mother Earth. I follow the Path of the Druids (OBOD and try to be the ancestor that future generations would be proud of.
I also am the steward of a little piece of land in Asturias in the north of Spain, where I plan to provide a small sanctuary for native beings there and to put into practice what I learnt in my Permaculture Design Course. Medicinal herbs are being planted, rainwater will be harvested, and a compost toilet will soon take pride of place.
I am a creative nature activist and a member of the Culture Declares Climate And Ecological Emergency organization. I host regular Earth Exchange rituals to try and bring healing to wounded places. As part of the Climate Psychology Alliance, I offer free sessions of therapeutic support to climate activists who are experiencing eco-related distress arising from eco-activism. I keep the ancient tradition of storytelling alive and I am an Earth Storyteller, and have collaborated with The Earth Stories collection, Volume 2, Earth Stories in Action.
